GENESIS POETS MUSIC SIGNS NATIONAL
PRESSING & DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT
WITH MALACO MUSIC GROUP

Washington, DC - (April 25, 2005) - Genesis Poets Music, Inc., which is pioneering a new outlet for spoken word artists, has announced the signing of a national pressing and distribution agreement with Malaco Music Group of Jackson, Mississippi.

Charlotte Fox, President and Chief Executive Officer of Genesis Poets Music, said, "We are extremely pleased to have this national P& D deal with Malaco. It will give spoken word artists, who write poetry with music, national exposure in the United States and Canada. Also, this will launch a new, artistic phase of the Hip Hop idiom by shifting the paradigm in radio. We are happy to join the Malaco Music Group."

Tommy Couch, Sr., President of Malaco Music Group, expressed confidence that the shift to poetry in Hip Hop will be "monumental in the evolution of poetry and music." Malaco Music Group has maintained a reputation of "trend setting" in the music industry. Mr. Couch stated, "We recognize that Spoken Word Music is largely underground, that is until now."

Malaco Music Group is the largest solely owned independent record distributor in the United States. For more than 30 years Malaco Music Group has defined Southern Rhythm & Blues, Soul and Gospel. With this deal Malaco will help define "Spoken Word Music."

Al Dale, Chief Operating Officer of Genesis Poets Music and a long time promoter of major entertainment shows in the Nation's Capital, commented, "I am excited about moving poetry and music to a new level, opening the flood gates for talented artists who might never have been heard. And at the same time, we are expanding the opportunity for the general public to appreciate a new art form of the Hip Hop idiom."

Ms. Fox, a former actress and broadcast producer, said Genesis Poets Music will release in May 2005 its first compilation CD, featuring 16 exceptionally talented poets. Her daughter, Charneice Fox, Vice President/Artist Director who is a long-time spoken word artist in the Nation's Capital, will help provide direction in selecting artists for the new Genesis Poets Music label.
