CRAZY AS HELL is the feature film-directing debut for Eriq La Salle (actor - ER's Dr. Peter Benton/director/producer - The Salton Sea). CRAZY AS HELL stars Michael Beach, Ronny Cox, Sinbad, Tia Texada, Tracy Pettit, John McGinley and Eriq LaSalle.

SYNOPSIS
Dr. Ty Adams (Michael Beach) is a maverick psychiatrist whose non-medicinal approach to treatment makes him a hero in some circles and an egoist in others. Adams agrees to be the subject of a 30 day documentary, examining the effects of psychiatry on mental illness and conversely the effects of mental illness on psychiatry. The study progresses as planned, until the day that a mysterious stranger admits himself to the hospital claiming to be Satan (Eriq LaSalle). Through their intense therapy, the stranger works his way into Adam's world, unraveling his life and pushing him into a battle in which only one of them will survive.

THE COLOR OF FILM's MISSION is to foster, support and create new and diverse images of people of color in film and video. THE COLOR OF FILM "Film Series" brings independent guest filmmakers of color to Boston to screen their films and discuss their work. Past events include: Byron Hurt with film I AM A MAN, Tim Reid with ASUNDER and Stephanie Black with LIFE & DEBT.
