---Thinking of Aretha Franklin---
Aretha Franklin was discharged from a Detroit hospital after undergoing surgery that her doctors deemed highly successful! The Queen of Soul is in great spirits and very happy to be home where she will be resting in anticipation of spending the upcoming holiday season with her family.  “My family and friends who brought me home are taking great care of me. I also have a private nurse who visits on a daily basis.  I’m hoping to be strong enough to go out and see the upcoming Sam Cooke play at the Music Hall in Downtown Detroit before January 2, as well as a performance of Dreamgirls at the FOX before it closes.”

---Inspiring book: “Fear Cancer No More”---Author Mauris Emeka lost his wife of 36 years to pancreatic cancer. He might have curled up and withdrawn from life. Instead, what he discovered is truly empowering. Want to know what you can do to help prevent or overcome cancer? This self-help book is not about dietary supplements and superfood additives, nor is it about "health food" in the usual sense of that term. Learn to prevent the underlying cause of cancer, instead of just treating the symptoms. Fear Cancer No More is a carefully researched work that invites the reader to act - and act now! It is about neither conventional nor alternative therapies. Instead, it calls attention to a few "back to basics" lifestyle changes that can be initiated to prevent and overcome the dreaded effects of cancer. The book is for those who elect to take greater responsibility for their health. Click here for more information. If you choose to purchase the book, ask for the UnityFirst.com discount.
