---Jada Pinkett Smith and ESSENCE---
Multi-talented actress and superstar mom Jada Pinkett Smith is starting a revolution.  She bares it all for the July cover of ESSENCE magazine, and makes a bold statement to empower Black women and girls. Jada shares the motivation behind her shoot, and explains why she approached ESSENCE with the idea.  For her, posing nude is not about Hollywood vanity, but about the desire to teach her young daughter about positive body image.  By celebrating our bodies and our skin tone, Jada preaches the power of femininity and the freedom of self-acceptance. The July issue of ESSENCE magazine hits newsstands on June 11.

---Employee Confidence Index---
The SFN Group Employee Confidence Index dropped by 0.5 points to 52.6 in May. The Index measures workers' confidence in their personal employment situation and optimism in the economic environment. "Our latest report is still very positive despite a slight dip in overall confidence," said Roy Krause, president and CEO of SFN Group, Inc. "Not only are workers more confident in the number of jobs available, but over 40 percent are optimistic that they would be able to find one. Another positive sign that we are seeing is the increasing need for administrative and clerical workers. This shows that hiring has expanded beyond the light industrial sector -- which tends to lead in a recovery -- and investments are being made in front-office talent to support business growth. We are also seeing increased activity in both recruitment process outsourcing and technology, as well as more permanent hiring activity in the accounting and finance middle management ranks. These demands, coupled with the continued job gains seen within the temporary help services sector, are all good signs that point towards a continued recovery and an expanding job market."

---Hispanic Evangelicals Launch National Voter Registration---America's largest Hispanic Christian Organization, The National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC), The Hispanic National Association of Evangelicals, launched this week a National voter registration campaign focusing on registering Hispanic faith voters via local evangelical churches. "Hispanic Christian voters will stand as the firewall against moral relativism, spiritual apathy and cultural decay. Without a doubt, Hispanic faith voters will reconcile a platform of righteousness and justice in the 2010 mid-term elections," explained Rev. John Murillo, Campaign Director. In partnership with United in Purpose, a non-partisan, not-for-profit national coalition of Americans actively advancing the traditional values of our Founding Fathers, NHCLC will work with over 30,500 Hispanic evangelical congregations, 52 denominations and various state and local chapter networks in order to increase the number of registered Hispanic faith voters.
